एक बंध मॉडल जिसमें परमाणु ऑर्बिटल मिलकर आणविक ऑर्बिटल बनाते हैं जो पूरे अणु में विस्थानीकृत होते हैं।

विस्तृत व्याख्या

संयोजकता बंध सिद्धांत के विपरीत, आणविक कक्षक सिद्धांत इलेक्ट्रॉनों को पूरे अणु के रूप में मानता है। यह सिद्धांत O₂ में अनुचुंबकीयता और He₂⁺ जैसी स्पीशीज की स्थिरता की सफलतापूर्वक व्याख्या करता है।
