개요
Magnesium chloride reacts with sodium hydroxide to form a white precipitate of magnesium hydroxide (Ksp = 5.6 × 10⁻¹²). The milky white suspension is commonly known as milk of magnesia. Mg(OH)₂ is a weak base that slowly neutralizes acid.
